Procedure for “Guía de Traslado” (agave transportation permit) Agave tequilana Weber blue variety issuance

• The producer and/or the company with agave and registered before the Consejo Regulador del Tequila goes to the CRT agency to request for agave transportation permit.
• The Office assistant checks at the field program the existence, age and number of plants to be cut down at the property.
• If producer has balance and agave suitable age for jima, the permit needs to be completed.
• In the event that there is no agave for jima, the transportation permit is refused.
• If item 3 is met, the office assistant with the producer record (II-B) shall complete the Item I Data of the agave tequilana’s farmer. From the agave transportation permit, data for this Item I is:

1. The property’s owner name
2. Address
3. Municipality
4. The Producer’s record number

• · Item II, Property Data, shall be filled out with the property record number at the agave transportation permit. This Item II data is:
  1. Name of the property
  2. Municipality
  3. Place
  4. The property’s record number
  5. Year of sowing

• Item III, Agave tequilana Weber blue variety Purchaser Data shall include the Purchaser’s company name at the agave transportation permit. This Item III data is:

1. The Company’s name
2. Address
3. Municipality

• To fill out Item IV, Truck’s Data, of the agave transportation permit, the agave producer shall provide the following data:

Truck’s Plate
Truck’s Make
Truck’s Model

the agave transportation permit shall include

• In addition to the four above mentioned items, Items 5,6,7,8 of this procedure, the agave transportation permit shall include:

A folio number (consecutive)
Delivery date (automatically provided by the system)
Expiration date (10 days from issuance date)
Place in where this permit is granted (Guadalajara, Tequila, Arandas, Tepatitlan de Morelos or Atotonilco el Alto)
Signature of the person granting the permit (the person in charge at office)

• The agave transportation permit shall have all safety features needed. Each truck carrying out agave shall have a transportation permit.
• Once the agave transportation permit is completed and printed, shall be delivered to petitioner. A copy of that permit shall be kept at the CRT e-server.
• The agave transportation permit shall be submitted by the agave producer and/or carrier, at the agave reception of the factory, and the CRT Card of the agave’s owner.
• Each factory’s responsible shall require the agave transportation permit each time the agave is received at factory in order to discount the agave plants counting at the Web site www.extranet.tequila.org.mx, registering the following fields:

1. Record collection
2. Property’s record
3. Year of planting
4. Folio number of the agave transportation permit
5. Quantity of agave plants transported
6. Weight in kilos
7. Name of the person in charge of the agave
8. The truck’s plate number

• The agave plants cut down counting shall be reported by the producer and/or the company. The agave weight registry shall be taken from the weight scale bill.
• As soon as the transportation permit folio is registered, it shall be marked as entering in a factory
• The CRT e-server shall have information back up.
