LABORATORY

The laboratory of the Consejo Regulador del Tequila, A.C. is equipped with quality infrastructure and highly trained personnel committed to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System aimed at achieving the satisfaction of our associates and clients. In this space we perform physicochemical, instrumental and microbiological tests, among others, guaranteeing reliable and timely results, required to comply with the specifications established in the official norms or national and/or international standards, therefore guaranteeing the quality of the alcoholic beverages to the consumer.

ACCREDITATION AND APPROVAL

The scope or analytical framework of the tests of our Laboratory is accredited by the Mexican Accreditation Entity (EMA), approved by the General Directorate of Standards of the Ministry of Economy.

Laboratory Analysis

The Laboratory of the Tequila Regulatory Council has a wide and suitable range of analyses that provide the results required for product compliance with the official norms or standards specifications applicable to the Tequila industry and other alcoholic beverages.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TRC ASSOCIATES:

Sign the service contract provided by the TRC Certification Body.
Fill out the application for laboratory services (download application).
Submit samples to the laboratory.
Provide names and e-mail addresses of authorized persons to have access to the reports of results on the Extranet.
Cover the fees of the samples analyzed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-ASSOCIATES:

Request a quotation for the sample to be sent.
Submit proof of tax status.
Fill out the service request form provided by the Laboratory, in which the trials (tests) and the delivery time for the report of results are established.
Submit a copy of an official identification of the legal representative or applicant.
Cash payment at our facilities or by wire transfer and e-mail the deposit slip to: laboratorio@crt.org.mx and cgonzalezm@crt.org.mx
