Established on May 17, 1994, as a non-profit organization, the Tequila Regulatory Council is a civil organization that brings together all the actors of the Agave Tequila chain, such as: agave producers, tequila producers, bottlers, distributors, traders and government agencies.
OUR OBJECTIVES
Inspect, analyze and certify compliance with the Official Mexican Standard for Tequila.
Safeguard the Appellation of Origin of Tequila in Mexico and abroad.
Guarantee the authenticity of Tequila to the consumer.
Generate timely, trustworthy and useful information for the Agave-Tequila production chain.
